A Real Miracle?

The definition of a miracle is a sign of wonder that can be attributed to God only. They say that the 1980 USA hockey team victory over Russia was the miracle of ice. I believe this was a true miracle. The Russians were heavily favorited and winners of the recent games played. The way that team played with their hearts and determination that they could shock the world was truely a miracle. What do you guys think?

i think it happened like the movie, angels in the outfield. God sent down 6 angels from heaven and gave the young usa team supernatural abilities. The way they played was just unbelievable. This is truly a miracle. Nothing like this will ever happen again......GO USA!!!!

I think that the USA hockey really put on a show that night. God was with both teams that night. I know this because it was such a physical game and noone was seriously injured. They put out a movie for this game and throughout the movie many of the players pray and atend mass. I think the Russian Orthodox church isn't going in the right direcrtion. I truly beleive God was on our side during this battle and eventually...victory.

I think that the US team played all out, like they had nothing to loose. The Russians came into the game as the best team in the world and left as the second team in the world because they played not to loose, while the Americans played to win and didn't care what the outcome was. The US team wasn't even suppose to make it that far. I believe that this was a miracle and it helped give hope to Americans in a time of trouble.
